  1. Connect results to Excel as a data source rather than opening a new workbook each time

    The form is great in terms of collecting responses. That said, if you need to view all the data at once, you need to open the form results in Excel. If you do that, it appears to open a separate result each time. There is no way to edit the results workbook. For example, I want to add a column to the results where I can keep track of whether or not I have contacted the person since they have filled out the form. If I add that column to the table, it will be gone when I next click…

      Thanks for using Microsoft Forms and providing feedback.

      We just enabled a new feature “Forms for Excel” for all Microsoft Forms customers. When you create Forms for Excel in your OneDrive for Business / modern SharePoint team sites, you will get an Excel workbook at the same time. All the responses data will show up in your Excel workbook in real time.

    • Allow multiple forms to be assigned to single workbook as separate sheets

      My scenario: I run multiple trainings each week. I create Forms from Excel to tie the data to OneDrive and Sharepoint (depending), which is great, but each form has to be in a separate workbook, even though it creates a new sheet for the form. It would be VERY helpful to generate multiple forms from a single workbook, each as its own sheet, so I could collect all forms for a particular class, topic or timeframe, as I see fit.

      • URGENTLY change Likert -scale replies as number in excel.

        Now Likert -replies appear as text in the excel sheet. Excel can't count text so it is impossible to count or see average numbers. That means you can't analyse the results unless every time you choose cell type text to numbers

        • I would like to view responses in an online Excel sheet that updates automatically (adding a table row) when new responses are submitted.

          Allow reponses to be viewed in a live Office365 Excel sheet so that new submissions can be seen right away. Unfortunately, downloading the Excel sheet to view doesn't let us see new responses right away.

          • Reactivate the ability to use Microsoft Forms Data Sync in Excel

            Towards to end of 2016, the Excel add-in, Microsoft Forms Data Sync, was functioning well. This add-in allows for the form data to update although a user is analyzing data in Excel 2013/2016.

            • Add a column with total correct when exporting to Excel

              A column with total correct of the quiz feature questions would be helpful when viewing the Excel Spreadsheet for those who need to take the information to another database.

                  • Make it possible to reconnect a form to an excel file after moving the excel file

                    I made Form from and Excel file. It was great but then I needed to move the Excel File. This broke the connection between the file and the form and I had to redo the form again in the new location.

                    • Allow duplication of Form in sharepoint

                      We are using forms in the school office to collect data from parents & record observations. We need to be able to create form templates so they can be easily duplicated. At the moment if you duplicate a form it creates a copy in your onedrive, once you copy this to the required sharepoint area the form functionality is lost.

                      The form functionality is also lost if you try to copy the excel sheet created.

                      We really need this asap, having to recreate a form every time is not only a waste of time it leaves us open to errors…

                      • allow to duplicate a form when created through the excel program.

                        When previously creating a survey in excel, the functionality existed to duplicate the same survey (through excel) by changing the name and saving - there was no need to retype the survey. Data collected by an excel survey automatically populated into an excel spreadsheet. However, with the change to forms in excel, a new form is needed each time a new excel spreadsheet is copied - making the creation of the same form via excel for different populations / demographics more time consuming.

                          I rearranged the questions in my Form, but the Excel still keeps the old order. I'd love to be able to rearrange the Excel to match the order of questions I have on the form.

                          • Allow an option to customize the excel document that is generated by the form

                            Allow one question to break the excel file into sheets based on the respondent's answer to that question.

                            If question one has 4 options, each of the options generates the data into a different sheet to allow for easier readability.

                            After a respondent answers "Option A", then their data all goes into sheet named "Option A"

                            • Make features consistent between OneDrive and SharePoint

                              Working with a Form linked to a OneDrive spreadsheet and it seems to work OK.

                              When I open a spreadsheet in a SharePoint folder I get a feature called "Survey" but I guess I shouldn't use that becasue it's on its way to being depreciated?

                              I'm terrified to move files or open in desktop Excel for fear of breaking them.

                              This reminds be of the Skype / Skype For Business / Lync debacle.

                              More coherence in product roadmaps please!

                                I suggest that the number type fields of the form are not type text in the exported EXCEL file.

                                  • Ability to move the Form/spreadsheet within Sharepoint to another location, and the link be dynamic - currently it breaks the relationship.

                                    • two surveys, one excel doc

                                      I would like to have two surveys: one before event and another after event where the responses are tracked in one single place (there would be one unique field response in the second survey that would signal which row to place the results in the first excel doc.) Is this possible?

                                      • Add a colum in the spreadsheet results showing the row score. . . For example: 9/10, 9 or 90 percent.

                                        Currently we get the score of the Quiz/Form. However, the Excel form does not provide us with the row score. This way, we could create sub groups.

                                          Microsoft Forms から、[結果の表示] から回答を削除、もしくは [すべての結果を削除] とした場合、OneDrive for Business の Forms の Excel ファイルに反映されない。
                                          OneDrive for Business から該当の Forms の Excel ファイルを開くと、削除したはずのデータもそのまま表示されている。
                                          [すべての回答を新しいブックへ同期する] を行うと 削除が反映される動作になる。
                                          しかしながら、現在、OneDrive for Business の Forms の Excel ファイルに関数を設定している為、[すべての回答を新しいブックへ同期する] を行うと新しいファイルが作成され、新たに関数を設定する必要がある。
