Sharing and collaborating experience in Forms
Ever found any confusion or inconvenience when sending or sharing your forms/quiz? Please leave your comments, feedback and suggestions in this thread. We'd love to hear more about specific scenario or problem you hit!
Dear Forms users,
We are working on it. Hugely appreciated if you could take 3 mins to fill out the survey:
This will help us understand what’s the most important for you and whether we are moving on the right track. Thank you!

Ability to add of only the names who will take the assessment so that it would be truly secure.
For Collaborator / Admin:
Ability add names, sharing the link with someone is a good idea however if is too risky as the link can be accidentaly shared. Adding the name would be more secure. This is similar to what other profesional assessment authoring tool out there being used by big companies.
With the 'Share as a template' option you cannot duplicate a Form in Teams. If use the link, then I can only create personal Forms and share it with some people. However, it will not become a Group Form and not visible for the Team.
It is also not possible to collaborate with a limited group: everyone in my organization - anyone or no one.

Have a 'Name' field that can be used when sharing outside of the organisation. Currently all entries are listed as 'Anonymous', which makes it very hard to identify candidates!
Sometimes in a longer form, copying a question to repeat at the bottom can be a chore. It would be helpful to have a button that sends it straight to the top or bottom instead of requiring 50+ clicks.
It would be very, very useful

Please add the ability to build and share custom reports. Simply allow user to select the question(s) they want to see in report. Create the custom report for printing and creation of link to the custom report. I want the ability to hide responses when they contain confidential information.

I think this function should be called "assign" (very different from "share").
The form is assigned to a user; which leads to a list of who answered and who didn't.
I would like to share the forms that I create with people outside o365.When sharing the system says "Anyone with the link can view and edit" but they are confronted with a 0365 login.

In an organization, it would be more secure if the participant link can only be accessed by the intended person. In this case if you have a group of students in a training, even if they share it to others who are not part of the class, those who will have the link would not be able to access the quiz/assessment even if the link is still accepting responses. This will avoid leackage of questions.

Enable capture of a user-friendly title for a link that is to be shared via email - perhaps default to the title of the form?

Can I change the HTML code line
<body dir="ltr"> to "RTL" only for specific forms and the user will receive the form with the same RTL only for that form.

Have ability for enable external sharing with another office 365 tenant. this ability is necessary for get external user data for questionary. for company with two or more registered tenant.
I agree. I don't like sending the link to people because of the chance of other people gaining access to the link. I would rather share it with specific people in my organization by entering their email. However you could still keep the link as an option for people that prefer that.
This would be especially helpful in schools. I manage one large public school "organization" made up of 36 individual sites. I could benefit extremely from the ability to share with just students, just teachers, or limit responses to an individual site.

Make it possible to add a name to "share" and allow multiple shares of each form. Then allow name/share-id to attach to response data.
Then responses could be analyzed after filtering collectors or comparing between collectors. Doorway collector, email collector, first-time, recurring, city, etc. This could save responder from answering location question, or other applicable collector usage.
It would also give very nice abilities with branching. Error/issue reporting form with collectors different / machine to streamline form input.
In the "Share to Collaborate" I wish there were a spot to type in the users name instead of copying the link and then emailing it to them.
Right now, results are exported through Excel. I would like to see other options of where to get/store results - like SharePoint. If it's in Sharepoint, have a list that resembles a "grade book" vs an excel file.

This is essential. Some organizations will want to prevent external and/or anonymous access to forms. Right now any user with the Forms license can create a form and share it with the entire interweb. That's the same as allowing any user to create/share a personal web page. Not acceptable in organizations with normal information sharing/security concerns. There are admin controls to prevent external/anonymous sharing for SharePoint and OneDrive for Business. Forms needs the same thing.

Share the form with specific people.
Especially in corporate setting there is usually a need to send the survey/quiz to specific people instead of everyone in organization. There should be a way to do that.
