Having a feature which enables us teachers to assign TIMED tests, not necessarily quizzes, which are longer in duration and consist of open ended short or long answer exam type questions is a must. It would be even better if : 1. the students are unable to switch screens whilst performing the test, 2. teacher can remotely monitor the students 3. useful tools such as calculator / drawing toolbars are included 4. sequence of questions is different for different students and 5. students have possibility to chat with teacher and vise versa in case of difficulty.
Please include this feature ASAP. It's a must at these times when it's difficult to assign tests/exams in class in order to minimise spread of disease and when face to face contact time with students has been reduced at least by half.

very important for teachers ! How else can you properly make an exam and limit time and cheating.

This topic has well over 2000 votes when you look at all the times it has been suggested. Why has it been four years since this suggestion and still nothing!?
Adding a time limit to quizzes or questions is an essential tool for remote learning. With the amount of money school systems are spending to give all employees and students access to office365 this should have been done long ago.

How is this feature still not implemented!?! It is absolutely an essential component to making assessments fair. Students work at different paces when working remotely, so they won't all start the quiz at the same time. To make a quiz as fair as possible, all students need to have the same amount of time to write the quiz which is done with set time limits.
