When you are trying to run a confidential survey, as opposed to an anonymous survey, I believe this message can deter people from filling the survey out. I'm required to explain in the intro of my survey that only aggregate data will be shared with leaders/HR etc. which is true, but users seems to disregard what is explained to them in the intro once they see a message directed at them BY NAME saying the "owner" can see their name and alias. They interpret owner as leader or HR or some authority when it's really an analyst outside of their org (at least in this case). This SHOULD NOT be a default setting. It's limiting for those needing to do confidential surveying.

On the Send and Collect Responses, just select the option to "Anyone with the link can respond", hope this solves your query.

It would be great if we can remove 'Hi <name>, when you submit this form, the owner will be able to see your name and email address.'

I agree, I think the owners should be able to edit it how they want it.
