Add time and date input fields that are not just text fields but true date and time fields
When i use Microsoft Forms togheterh with Microsoft Flow i often get frustrated about not being able to use the Date data that user putin to a form.
For example i have a form where a user answer a question with the date option in Forms.
Then i use Flow to extract that info and put in a sharepoint list in a column configured as Date. But that does not work, i must use a text field in the sharepoint list. This is wrong, this means i can not populate a calendar in sharepoint by extracting data from a Microsoft Forms form.
Please make this work.
share the fix????
i have a solution doesnt share???
finally i have a simple solution
Im having the same issue do you mind sharing you fix?
I am having the same issue
I have set up an MS flow which captures a start and end date from the form and creates a calendar entry. I do not seem to be able to capture the start and end time within the Form within a time format. Is it possible to have a user input start time and date and end time and date within the form?
Hey John Corrado,
Can you please share with me how you get the dates to populate from Forms to the Start Time and End Time fields in a SharePoint List that uses the Schedule content type?
Thanking you in advance
Would you mind sharing how you accomplished this?

Yes, It would be really interesting to see how you did the time. I got the date pretty fine since it is just a matter of converting the form input to UTC format. But 365 Forms not having a time picker complicates extensively the issue of pulling event times to sharepoint
Hey John Corrado, what is the solution for this? I would love to know since I have been fighting with it for awhile.

Hey there...I've figured out a way to get the dates to populate from Forms to the Start Time and End Time fields in a SharePoint List that uses the Schedule content type...and I've been able to successfully have these calendar items show up in the calendar view. It tool a little while to figure out but I did it. I'd be happy to share the complete solution with you if you'd like.
