Have the "Open in Excel" link open in ONLINE Excel. Downloading a static doc is kind of worthless. I want a linked Excel doc I can share.

I have additional fields in my form that I use after a form is submitted, i.e. approved / not approved type stuff. The Excel file linked to form needs to be a permanent online file where I can update and save.

You can create an excel file in O365, and then form that, create a form. It'll give you what you want.
