I would like to view responses in an online Excel sheet that updates automatically (adding a table row) when new responses are submitted.
Allow reponses to be viewed in a live Office365 Excel sheet so that new submissions can be seen right away. Unfortunately, downloading the Excel sheet to view doesn't let us see new responses right away.

Completely agree! We use this form for referrals and having to download it every time is not helping with productivity. Unfortunately the Health Department doesn't allow me to use google forms or I would be using their platform since its much more user friendly and I can see live changes in a sheet.

with remote teaching during COVID, the use of Microsoft Forms (and in particular QUIZ) is getting very interesting for high school / university. Yet, lack of direct sync of answers to an Excel sheet is definitely a limitation.

Agree. Storing answers in Excel online is available with the business subscription but not in the private subscription (Personal/Home). It should be available also for private users. I realy like O365 but in this field Google Docs are better and I need to use it insteed MF

I want to use the Form and have it linked to an automatically updated Excel spreadsheet without having to download it each time. This will allow my team of workers to see the results entered in Excel sheet in real-time and help with our work flow. Thank you!

I would like work with a live Excel sheet of the responses can show things I have added on the speadsheet, such as highlighting rows of data or changing their font color. I don't like downloading a new Excel form each time I receive new survey responses.
I create my forms online.

Being able to view, filter, color code, edit, etc. form responses is a critical capability. Having to download new snapshots to do this just doesn't work. I won't be using Microsoft forms or recommending any of the many people I assist in setting up online forms to use it until this basic feature is working.

Jon took the words right out of my mouth
"It seems odd that there is a way to update responses from Forms to Excel Online automatically, but not for the Quiz version of Forms.
I post regular quizzes in my workplace and I want to be able to have a leaderboard that auto-updates the scores each time a person submits their answers. However there appears to be no functionality to do this." -

Yes, this would make Forms much more usable.
I would also want to be able to share the link to the Excel Online results as a tab in Microsoft Teams.

When downloading Form data include total points of quiz & form name... maybe in the header or in a few rows before or after the data table?

Great new options in settings for Forms however, I need to be able to have live data in one excel sheet/online excel rather than exporting a new file every single time I get a new response.

Right now, unlike forms, the only export option on quiz is to excel desktop.
