Correct the response chart for text answers. It is case sensitive, whereas the grading is not.
Grading of text questions does not take into account upper and lower case characters - which is what one expects. However the response chart does take it into account. Therefore "apple", "Apple" and "APPLE" would show as three different columns. They should be consolidated as "apple" unless in future there is an option to make the answer case sensitive.

This is an issue for me too! I created a typing uppercase letters quiz. I'm getting two different results when a lowercase letter is typed. When I look at the responses, it is marked incorrect. When I click Review Answers or Post Scores, incorrect answers are marked correct! It is inconsistent.
That inconsistency should be fixed AND it should be an option to enable/disable case sensitive grading.
This is a feature that is needed within the quiz feature of forms to be used by teachers...
Has this issue been corrected?
As teacher, it is very hard for us to double check answers for some considerations..

Quiz text field (answer) appears to be case sensitive. This should be optional.
