New field type: Person lookup
It would be very useful to be able to have a lookup field for looking up persons in the organization. Similar to the Person field type in Sharepoint.
Yes, please!!! I have anonymous forms, but have a question where they can enter their name if they want to be contacted. Being able to search the directory to add their account name and contact information would be super helpful. We can do this as a connector in PowerApps, but I NEED it in Forms!

looks like there are several threads for the same field going back a couple of years......there is obviously a need, and certainly there has been time.....why isn't this done yet?
Every form we have ever made in Microsoft Forms has required a single or multiple person list of people from Active Directory. Having to make this a free from text field has limited our ability to use this tool and force us back to either SharePoint Lists or PowerApps only.
Please provide a status at least on whether this is being considered.
can you consolidate the votes from 2 other same requests and consider this for implementation?
+1 would be very handy!
Totally agree! It would be extremely useful, especially with Microsoft Flows/Power Automation.
this would be perfect since handlingof complex excel files and even long sharepoint lists can start with a simple form
Yes! Please add this!!
Yes, the ability to type/search in a dropdown of people from our organization would be great! it would remove data quality issues like
This would be fantastic!
As Marc commented, this is ridiculously obvious functionality. Let's get'r done.
MS, you guys have been given this idea over 2 years now... at least. PLEASE!!! drop what you're doing and get this ball rolling asap. this is vital

Definitely need a lookup field to retrieve users from organization. If the user does not type the name of the person correctly in Forms, the Flow I have that is connected to a Person or Group field in SharePoint will fail. I also cannot add all the users in a single text field within Forms. This will make it difficult to manage adding all the possible users that may need to be linked to a single line of text field in Forms.
Hope this is resolved quickly since some of the solutions I am exploring within my organization and customers is the entire Office suite not just bits and pieces.
If Dynamics 365 has lookups and SharePoint has lookups and PowerApps has lookups, it only makes sense for Forms to have lookups.
This is called consistency!!!
This is a must-have for Forms to be useful as actual forms. Single and multiple selections of AAD accounts/emails, please.
+1 for this. I want to create a form for positive feedback about colleagues so a people picker would be extremely useful.

This would be a great improvement for us. We could be more confident that forms have been submitted concerning the right person. We would also be able to verify details and communicate by collecting e.g. manager details from the active directory.
Yeah, why is this not a thing yet?

I feel like MS forms should mirror the capability of lists when it comes to input so it can be integrated with flow.
Currently i have list I am trying to build an input form with which requires a persons name to be entered. If done through the list entry then we have a column which allows you to look up a name in your organisation, but in a form there is no such option. Disappointing.
Please, please please can we add this soon. It would help make forms a more user friendly entry point into lists on SP.
