Make the branching functionality more obvious when building questions, especially on the first question.
When designing questions, it should be obvious that branching is possible - this affects how questions are written. There should be some connection to it near the actual question creation. Either a direct option to branch from there, or a pointer to find the branching ability.

Dear Microsoft Forms users,
Thank you for your support on Forms and your feedback on User Voice. We are currently working on improving branching, and we would like to gather more feedback. Please take a few minutes and fill out a quick survey. Your input will be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Microsoft Forms Team

"Your request implies there is already a branching option. But i don't see one."
"ou have the option in the 3 dots."this just proves the utterly disgusting UI design of this tool, branching options is just too far away from the natural workflow, up above where usually global settings are, this is very counterintuitive and completelly beats the purpose of being "simple for common users".
Just please put it closer to the questions, or make it accessible from the question itself, do not hide it on the topmost rightmost corner of the screen, which in some monitors can mean whay out of people focal scope.
and hire better designers. please

Anonymous, there is a branching option. On the top-right hand corner you'll see three dots, click that and a drop-down menu will show. The top option is called Branching.
