How is this not in development? So useful for internal applications/processes that Power Automate can be run from.
Without it I have to jump to using a PowerApp and a SharePoint list.

Surveys are gone in SharePoint, unless you enable the Classic feature. You can't pass a parameter into Forms from Teams or SharePoint without buying Pro licenses, so you can't use a picker outside of Forms and pass a name in. And Forms, despite being hailed as a first class Office app, is clearly not ready to be used in an organization for so much as a simple vaccine clinic sign-up form (if delegation is to be allowed). These are table stakes. You are losing in a features battle with SharePoint 2007 surveys. Simply unacceptable. If you aren't willing to build bare minimum functionality, kill the product already and stop pretending it's an acceptable alternative to SurveyMonkey or MOSS 2007.

I so want a people picker / email picker field. That said, I see that this post seems to be duplicate of this post:

This will be very useful

This is critical for our internal applications. I agree that it may need to be restricted to AAD linked tenants. We should be able to use guest accounts for B2B forms as well.

Very useful for line of business applications, however would need to be restricted to authenticated Forms.
