Dear Forms customers,

Thanks for your patience for the long wait on file upload.

We work closely with SharePoint team to provide a secured and compliant file upload service. It takes longer time than we expected due to the technical complexity.

We will reactive the project soon. It would be great if you could share more detail with us. This survey may take you about 3 minutes to finish.

Thank you for your time!
Microsoft Forms Team

It takes Microsoft YEARS to implement something like 'file upload' in Forms? Really?

No but seriously, it's about time you gave us an update regarding this. It's clearly something that a lot of people would like to see added. This century.

I don't want to to wait for our lives to be over
I want to know right now what will it be
I don't want to wait for our lives to be over
Will it be yes or will it be sorry?

Any updates? we want to move away from other form providers - typeform, jotform - but this isn't currently possible with the limitations of Microsoft Forms.

Please introduce this feature - even if you limit it to pro users, we need it!

This would be helpful for our team, I hope it is made available soon.

By the way, the survey above tells me, "You don’t have permission to view this form".

Please make this a priority, as others have said similar functionality to google where the user must upload to their google drive would be acceptable for now.

Why not have a sharepoint or onedrive folder associated to a form and have all files uploaded into there?

So form owners will choose the folder in the form settings (possibly separate subfolders folders if needed for each submission or question)

At the very least could we have another update to manage our expectations. Its very disappointing that forms seems to be neglected at this level. The Power BI team seem to be really on the ball with making regular and useful updates to the platform.

Yes please can this functionality be added asap to Forms? Without the ability to attach a file for our users of Forms it renders them a bit useless for using them as a contact us form.

Hope this happens soon. It'll be a game-changer for us particularly for student processes where Forms doesn't quite cut it, but offering a document template to upload alongside a form would really make a huge, huge difference and let students fill in the template at their leisure, rather than just in a single session in an over-length form. C'mon folks, you can do it!
