Allow pre-populated data via URL parameter
It would be helpful to be able to add a GET value to the share link to provide default answers to questions. E.g., ?q1=default&q2=default2
This feature would be useful for forms, hopefully it can be moved up on the backlog

Make this happen!

Either implement this or give up to Google and implement Google forms into Microsoft flow so at least we can benefit from the power of Flow and Google.
It is frustrating that many of 'must' features are missing and not been updated.
I know there are low hanging fruits that MS can easily add and fix, but there are 'must' functions to be able to utilize tools like Forms. There is currently no way of setting a default value to a question.
For me it is the reason why i am not using Microsoft form (although I would like to) but another provider (Typeform ...and I am paying for the service).
We need this feature as soon as possible. Do we know whether this is work in progress or not at all?

This will help to link the results with original list

Please provide this feature as soon a possible.
Holding up several solutions by not having this. Great potential for analytics but need to have this feature. Please hurry up!
I'm currently using Survey Monkey because this features is not in MS Forms. Makes a lot of sense to add this capability and given the number of votes for this suggestion it looks like a lot of others agree

Hard to believe this is not already a feature. Absolutely needed.
This would make Forms much more adaptable, please include this feature
Please, add this feature... our company is paying for O365 and has to use different products for surveys though.
We are also waiting for this feature.. please microsoft, give us some feedback!

Would definitively be helpful, eventually together with the possibility to 'hide' or 'lock' some questions to decrease the chance the information get manually changed (know it is possible to change it in the URL, but less obvious)

Remember HTML 3.0 days when Perl and CGI-BIN reigned supreme? Yeah this was possible then along with tables, animated gifs, midi music, and endless Ryu and Ken hadukens on under construction pages. Please put in this feature and align it with 2019.

How is this still not a feature? It should be pretty simple to add... :( I need to pass a standard variable through a predefined URL because then I can see who used what QR code to access the form. I don't need them to fill it out them selves... Need to get this from URL. :(

Dynamic data, create the QR code to match each product. Scan the code and it prepopulates the product number and you answer questions on the product for the rest of the form.

I see Forms Pro has the ability to personalize the question using URL parameter. But we really want the ability to populate a variable/readonly answer field with a personalized parameter. Using it for a satisfaction survey with a reference ID to the help desk ticket that is related.

We all need this!, Google Forms is able to do this and it's free!
