Allow pre-populated data via URL parameter

It would be helpful to be able to add a GET value to the share link to provide default answers to questions. E.g., ?q1=default&q2=default2

We would like to embed links to same Form into several places and we need to keep the context from where reply came.

        This feature is really required!

As a school, we also have the need to have people outside our organization fill in forms and identifying them by an id (nr mail adress, link) we provide. That's why it would be helpfull to somehow to fill in certain fields in the form.

This would be a useful feature to track feedback from our custom support system by including the ticket number automatically in the form

This would be useful to allow the update of already submitted data into the forms. Allowing users to update previous data from the source file.

Really need this to send survey's to our customers and make life easier by pre-populating certain fields or even hidden fields on the form so data can be tied back to our database.

This one additional feature would make it possible to use Microsoft Forms for our annual customer satisfaction survey. As many others here have said, I've successfully reproduced it using Google Forms instead, but having the survey results come right into our SharePoint or OneDrive would be such a smooth and elegant solution. Being able to pre-fill form certain form fields (particularly with an identifier, e.g. an order number) is a more pressing requirement, so for now it has to be Google.

We want to use Forms for our surveys. But since its not possible to add data via url parameter we cant :-( I need to take with me data as casenumber etc. into the forms..

We're considering using Forms to get information about employee satisfaction with our internal training classes. As pointed out below, it would be great to be able to pass the name of the class via a parameter rather than making the employees scroll through a list to pick the right one.

This would be huge - like earlier posters said, nearly every competitor already supports this, and it's really holding Forms back. Especially because it impedes our ability to integrate with Flows. It does about everything we need except for this, but it's a shortcoming that's making it a tough sell in our organization.

This feature is a must have!

We have a flow that sends a survey based on Dynamics 365 fields, and we want to collect the answers back in the platform (without the need to use Voice of the Customer solution).

As a workaround, we are using Flow to send an email to the user with a link that is a prefilled Google Forms url. Then, we use Zapier to copy the content from Google Forms to Excel (because Flow currently doesn't work integrating content from Google Sheet and Excel). After that, we have a third Flow that monitors the Excel file and when is a new row, adds the info back in Dynamics.

All this craziness and posible points of failure can be avoided with prefilled forms in Forms!

        Microsoft shame on you.

Need this badly, every major survey company has this option. Would love to move my team to MS forms, but this is a road block.
