Allow form respondents to save and continue to fill the form later
Allow students to save results without submitting test for students with accommodations to finish later. Students with extended time sometimes have to finish at a later time and the way it is set up now they have to restart the test each time.
Need to agree with the necessity of the "Save and Finish Later" feature. A significant audience for Forms is the enterprise and potentially these Forms can be lengthy on the number of questions. Respondents might not have time or need to collect information for specific content so it would be helpful to have the ability to save a response and complete later before submitting.

I want to add my voice to this conversation.... please, Google, develop and enable a "save and finish later" feature for forms. Without this feature, I am forced to use another survey tool.
I received this request from my customer - they want a save feature so that the survey taker can save and finish it later. The survey we are doing is academic and complex so the survey taker needs to come back to it later after doing some research.
Please add a save for later function - if you are completing a long form you may need to access information that you don't have straight to hand. If the system times out then all the information you have already entered may be lost.
I really hope that the 'save and continue later' feature is added soon as it would be very useful to have ready for the new year. Please ...
Provide support for form drafts and published versions so owners can create an updated version of a form and only make their changes visible to end users when they're ready.
Each major form version should track submissions independently so that data is not lost if a field is deleted over time.
For quizzes and Surveys that are lengthier. So they do not have to always start over and put in all of their info.
Create a save feature for participants completing a survey to be able to have a copy of the survey that shows their responses. This could possibly be a settings feature to allow the participant to save a copy in a PDF format. Many users often don't have access to survey results when they need to recall responses. This would be great tool for education.
I already do this. I make forms that get used as worksheets over the week.
Sometimes would be really useful to leave the form or quizz unfinished and be able to resume to it later.

Save information as each field is filled out, similar to some web-based alternatives. This would allow owners of the form to see where people are stopping on the form and modify it to increase completion.
I already suggested to save student's work, so that they can continue at a later time. This is quite often the case.
What would be VERY helpful is if there was a "dashboard" that shows student progress, as a bar or a percentage or just give an overview of all quiz questions with the finished ones colored. Even fancier: correct answers green, wrong answers red.
This dashboard will give teachers a really nice overview of student progress and performance!
