Greek letters, subscripts and superscripts.
Please add Greek letters, subscripts and superscripts. I teach physics.

Definitely required for engineering and science quizzes.
I need it too as chemistry lecturer
Chemistry teacher here. Put yourself above Google Forms and add subscripts and superscripts. Both versions of Forms are worthless to science teachers.
Yes- need this BADLY for Chemistry!! Not user friendly at all when trying to make quizzes, etc.

I can't believe this issue was raised 3 years ago and you haven't fixed it yet. If this platform is to compete against google classroom then it needs to listen to its existing customers.
superscript and subscript neccessary!

Yes, essential for Chemistry as well.
Also useful would be different fonts. When writing chemical formulas, it is so helpful for beginning learners to easily see the difference between a capital "I" and a lower case "l". They both look the same here! Times New Roman and Comic Sans do a good job of distinguishing those 2 characters.
I agree with the other post needed for sciences, distance learning chemistry in Washington DC

Totally agree with two previous comments! This suggested functionality would enhance forms to the point of being useful for the Sciences. (I teach high school Physics in Australia).

I also need subscript, Superscript, Bold, italic, underlined and other basic formating. I highly appreciate if Microsoft can look into this. I teach ICT here in Sri Lanka for the National Curriculum. I have hundreds to be published with Micorosft form. But only due to this lack of functionality it;s been delayed.

I agree we really need to be able to add Chemical formulae to multi choice quizes
CH3CH=CH2 is not correct and will only confuse the students taking the tests
