Randomly chose a number of questions for a quiz from a pool of questions
I would like to create a pool of questions and Microsoft Forms should randomly chose a number of questions from this pool for a quiz.
So if I need a quick test for my students I could just tell Microsoft Forms to take 10 questions from a certain pool randomly.

We've used forms to test students - absolutely garbage. Without random questions&answers students will always cooperate.

Very important feature.
Would be very nice as well to have the following additional features:
1) the choices (A, B, C, D) are randomly arranged
2) Option to add time limit (minutes or seconds) per question. -

This is definitely needed - would allow for far more variety in testing and assessments for students.

This is a must to perform quiz and exams in Forms. But indeed there is a complicated way to choose questions in Forms in a "pseudo-random" way using branching options. You can use an identification for the students such as student ID before the questions. For example in the first question you can ask students to mark the first digit of their student ID and then add branching to each answer, so that each digit may lead to a different question. Then you can ask another digit (or maybe first letter of the names) where each choice is branched to different questions. You may continue in this way for all questions.
This is a very complicated and cumbersome way, and you must be very careful about branching options. Also you need to put all questions in a single form.
It took lots of time to arrange everything correctly, but I managed to do an exam of 15 questions with 3 or 4 versions of each.

This is a must need for lot of quizzes and assessments that we conduct in our organization. Absence of limiting questions with Shuffle option is a major drawback and MS should address it asap.

This would held individuals focus and not copy from their socially distanced neighbour 😁
