To have options for creating folders in Forms.
I suggest Microsoft Forms team to think of an option to create folders and then create forms in it.
So that I can have all the forms related to one activity in one folder and also searching becomes easy.
Moreover, the dashboard looks clutter free.
Kindly give a thought.
Thanks all for your feedbacks and suggestions. As you may noticed, we’ve added two features to help you find target forms easier:
1. Search box. You can find a form by search the form name or form owner.
2.Form’s theme is shown in form card. If you are using different themes for different type of forms, it’s easier to find out forms by color.
Does the new feature help? Could you tell us more if the new feature doesn’t solve your problem?
How difficult would it be to add folders to forms?
Color-coding and a search box is not a very robust response to an excellent suggestion. Do these new features help. In my opinion, not really.
Please add the ability to use folders. Searching can be helpful but not to the extent that folders are for organization. I teach 5 different courses and being able to group my forms for each course into different folders would go a long way to helping me stay organized!
I want to be able to create a folder and put the forms into it to keep groups of forms together.
I would also like to be able to "lock" forms in place within that folder, so that they do not move and rotate.
It helps but I have over 50 forms on my dashboard and it's a pain trying to keep it organized. It would be great if I could separate them into groups. The search feature makes it easy to find a specific one but for someone like myself who is a bit OCD the disorganization kills me.
Even with the two features provided (search and themes) we still need folders to sort and categorize.
On the forms homepage (https://forms.office.com/Pages/DesignPage.aspx?origin=shell#) you get all of your forms / quizzes
If you have 50 forms it gets really messy, is there any way we can have simple top level folders like year or course or unit?
Alternatively can you implement a filter, so we can hide/view forms based on year / unit / course etc.
In both examples, if you teach 4 year groups over 4 modules, you could filter either by a year or a unit for example.
"Themes" is inadequate. We need to be able to organize the forms like any other Windows app: One Drive, File Explorer, etc.
I use themes a lot and as of now, that is one of the ways I try to help organize the folders. Even if it was as easy as a select menu of organizing the forms by name, creation date, last accessed date(current default), favorites, and so on would be awesome
I use Forms to assess students (quizzes) and really need a better way to organize them. A search and color-coding is not enough. If I have six different classes, test on a variety of topics, and want to have each year/semester organized in a specific place, I need more levels of organization available to me. Please, please, please add folder options to Forms! The inability to efficiently organize my quizzes by class, topic, and year is what prevents me from recommending Forms as a tool for other teachers.
Teachers would like to be able to create folders in forms to organize their forms. They are using them for CFAs and would like to be able to organize them by subject and standard.
I agree with all of the other comments. Folders for grouping forms are really an important feature that is missing.
I would prefer to see folders to organize my Forms

The ability to add tags or keywords to forms like in word docs would be very useful. As well as the folders. This would make it easier to sort and search.
Add TAGs to forms, in a way we can sort/find using TAGs

New features are great, but it didnt solve our problem. We need folders for organizing Forms. I use Forms for testing our students. I have almost 30 Forms and add more. Search and theme didnt help me much.

I don't think that feature helps... we are using Forms for vendor selection across multiple projects in MS Teams. As the PM on all of those projects my Forms page is a mess, even with themes (we have one theme because we brand across the company). Searching doesn't help much because they are similarly named.
In Teams it looks great - each team has it's own Forms tab. The team members never see the template, sub templates, and all the other forms outside of the project because the Teams interface keeps all of that hidden. When I look at it to do analysis it's a jumbled mass of similarly named items with our company's color theme.
Really hope that we can move each related forms into a folder so that it looks much organize compare to the current.
Need folders in Forms to organize quizzes
Having multiple quizzes and surveys in a given school year makes the interface way to cumbersome for advanced use. Scrolling through endless pages of huge icons that all relatively look the same to find a past form is a waste of time. Allowing the icons to be toggled between the standard size and smaller versions would help. Then allowing for the forms to be organized into user defined folders would help to streamline the user interface.
