Edit Response
Allow responders to edit responses after submission. For example, if a student is taking a quiz and is unable to finish before the end of class, the student can submit the quiz to save their answers and then continue the quiz during the next class period.

Any update when this will be available? It is critically important. I only see requests. Is there feedback some where?

Teachers I work with have been asking if this is possible because it would be so helpful to return the scores to students and allow students to amend their responses...

There is a need for this in a business setting, too. Form to collect data, but data might change over time and need to be edited/adjusted.
And make it so that it's an enable/disable option on the fly.

as per lots of the other comments - this would be a great feature in an education context. I would like it to be in append format rather than full resubmit eg - learner submits answer - assessor feeds back and indicates more/improvement is required - selects an option which then opens up a fresh dialogue for the learners work but keeps an uneditable version of the first submission within the form - clearly showing progress. This might need to be activated a number of times - suggest 3 maximum per question.

And allow someone to change an answer after submitting if they then realise they made a mistake.

Does changing questions or flow of questions change responses already received? I see questions that were marked required but are incomplete and the form is already submitted.

We need to edit basic data within a group of responses, will you be adding the ability edit responses?

We want people to fill in a form with existing information they have and later on, when other info is available, to be able to update their response. So we do need the feature for answer updates. Maybe there can be an option on creation to specify if the creator wants this feature to be activated or not for a specific survey. thanks

We use forms for data collection of new customers. Many times the customer can't complete the form in one session and needs to submit it in chunks to completely fill it out. Occasionally their answers change, and they want to go back and edit the form so its all in one place. This is needed to replace our current solution.

This is a key feature. We were using Google Forms but switched to MS Forms with our Office 365 suite. The inability for people to edit answers is a deal breaker.

I just can't believe I found that this is not available after 2 hours of creating a big form... Well, back to Google Forms then.

Please allow this feature!

I need this feature. We've recently migrated from google to 365 and this is the only thing that I'm really missing! It's a pain to be working over 2 different systems :/

I appreciate this idea. Students often press the Submitbutton and cannot get back to the test.

I have a section I want the person to fill in, then a second section that we fill in (ie for office use only), but as you cannot edit forms this becomes impossible. I don't understand why with so many comments and votes it's not being picked up after 4 years?

This was a feature in Infopath Forms, it should be a feature of Microsoft Forms.

Without doubt this feature is needed. For example my form is about organising lunches and folks sometimes (often) change their mind. This would be really, really helpful. When is it coming out. Eventbrite already does this.

This would be tremendously useful.

Please include this feature. This is the main reason why my company is still using Google Forms instead of the more secured MS Form.
