Allow for a dropdown box
It would be nice to have a drop down box for users to be able to select one or more choices instead of having to look at a long list of options. It makes the survey appear longer than it is and crowds the page.
Please let us know if you are willing to participate early dog food prog
Please add cascading combo box. We utilize Forms for our business. We have 50+ options for specific scenarios. A lot of our forms are carried out on tablets and in some cases, mobile phones/phablets. Recurring feedback from our endusers is that they spend a lot of their time flicking up and down the form to navigate. This consumes time when they need to fill out forms in a timely manner. Part of my job is to optimize the forms where possible. A dropbox of some sort would be very, very helpful
When using the Multiple choice question - adding a lot of items does turn it into a drop down list, however, if there are 50 choices in that list, it's one long list. No scroll bar inside that list window. It should be a list that shows maybe 10 selections with a scroll bar inside that short list of options. I would paste screenshots, but this doesn't allow me to.
You are thinking about this? Well, sure I guess it's a big dilema...
While you are thinking about it, try creating a form where your user needs to input the most basic of inputs, like "Select your Country". Good luck doing this with radio buttons!
Oh, and happy thinking!

I have noticed recently if you do put a certain number of items in a list on the web browser at least it does display a dropdown box. Although I also notice to scroll in the box you had to do that from outside the box which is not normal behaviour, but it works.
On mobile though the list is still displayed as a long list.

While you can select multiple items in Forms, that gets cumbersome if your list is long. It would be nice to be able to "select" your choices by moving them from one listbox to the other.
Cascading Combo Boxes are the way forward for any form. An essential in the world of route cause analysis.
Please add this! I will not be able to use Forms until this feature is added. I have option lists that are too long for the Choice feature to be functional.

Really needed this feature, I hope it will be added in the next update.
Please. Please. Please add this.
It's so basic, but so helpful to overall user experience and form functionality. Once you get the basic dropdown in you can start adding in cool features like conditional formulas, etc. BUT the basic in itself would be very much appreciated.
to would be great if you added the option for tiered responses also. I.e. if answer to first drop down was yellow then display a second drop down for only lookup linked to answer yellow
please add drop down option, i will very helpful , it will be admin customize

A dropdown box, that could use a SharePoint Online list as a data source for possible values, would be great!

Make it possible to have a dropdown menu for the question for example the subject accountic at the economic schools
The absence of subtitles, drop-down menus or anything to break the form down into sections means whatever you create appears quite long and intimidating.

I need to let user choose a country so I need to fill a combo/dropdown for this task to avoid bad typed countries (or in another language).

Please add Dropdown in the form as it make difficult to clean the data later when we get responses form large number participants
Add Drop down option during creation of form so that it would be easy for users to select their name inside for scrolling down which is mostly suggested
Dropped down that is linked to a data source.
