1. Add Check Box

Add an option for a simple check box instead of just radio button selections. This would be more useful when creating a true form type entry and not a quiz or survey where you may have multiple choice.

2. allow a question to serve as the identity of the respondent

Currently the forms are identified by the logged-in user - we currently use Google Forms to perform audits/assessments of certain processes, and one logged in user may audit 5 separate locations that need to be sorted/grouped, not by the person filling out the form, but by the unit that is being assessed.

3. Non-question fields and Auto-fill date

Make it possible to add text that isn't a question so that I can add links/paragraphs that are not linked to a question. Also make it possible to autofill the date of the response, so the date is correct. If I have to rely on my students to fill in the correct date, it doesn't always work out.

4. 2 different type of answers to a same question

It would be necessary to allow two different type of answers for a same question, e.g. check answers and then, if the proposed answers doesn't apply, give an option "Other:...." where the person filling in the form would be able to enter his own answer.

5. Allow multiple Text Box Answers to the same Question

I am currently using Microsoft Forms to design not Quizzes, but Exams Assessments for client solution. However, it would be great if questions such as:

List 2 duties that should done as an employee?
a) TextBox
b) TextBox

or

What does SOS stand for?
S: TextBox
O: TextBox
S: TextBox

6. Include single and multiple fill-in-the-blank questions.

A common way teachers test vocab comprehension is with fill-in-the-blank questions. Preferably the ability to post a short paragraphs and students have multiple blanks in which they have to type the correct word. Suitable for all subjects and most year levels.

7. Allow upload of photos as response

Provide photo/video upload as a type of permitted response to questions.

8. Integrate math more seamlessly

I wish you could enter equations seamlessly INTO questions or answer options, like for example (using LaTeX notation):
"If two forces $\vec{F1}$ and $\vec{F2}$ are perpendicular to each other then the sum of the two forces is $\Sigma F = \sqrt{F1^2+F2^2}$.

When I wanted to pose this to my students as a true/false question, I had to change it to
"If two forces are perpendicular to each other then the sum of the two forces is" and then in the subtitle of the question, using math mode:
"\Sigma F = \sqrt{F1^2+F2^2}"

It is much…

9. hidden questions to validate

Make it possible to add a hidden question that you can see when you look at the answers of a filled in form. In this way you can validate the answers of the form and you can later see which results you already checked.

12. Time slot picker field

I suggest creating a time slot picker field/type. This could show a set of blocks on a grid allowing you to select preferred time slots. For example, you could select Monday and Tuesday (specific dates, though) in the options of the field, as well as a time range for each day (ex: 8a to 5p, time-zone specific), as well as the increment in time (30 minute time slots, for example). Then, the field would show a grid with two rows (one for each day) and multiple columns for each time slot. The end-users could select a block for each time…

13. Add more data types e.g. Time

Would be a good move to add more data types for example time and also to be able to configure dates to the locale of the user

14. Make it possible to add info of participant as non question

For the form and as a participant it would be nice to be able to add information as a "non question" i.e Name: Lisa Andersson, Company: Lisas Company, Project: Lisas Project

The info should still be sorted and gathered as data in the form but not as a question (1, 2, 3) just as general information before the questions starts.

15. Add an NPS question type

Add a Net Promotor Score question type with fixed question text "How likely would you be to recommend [insert text] to a friend or colleague?" and a rating range from 0 - 10. Display aggregated results as an NPS score (i.e. -100 to 100).

Dear Forms customers,

It would be great if you could share more feedback for the NPS question with us.
You could simply fill in the survey – https://aka.ms/formsNPS

16. Integrate several elements to one question (sub-question, requests, comments)

Ex: A rate question with a comment sub-section
A multiple choice question with a rate question or comments...

17. Collate responses and then allow for voting on them.

The form would be two parts. The first part would be an open question; i.e. Where should the team go for an outing? Then the second question would be a list of the responses from the first question.

19. Word limit in the free text boxes (e.g. limit 100 words)

There needs to be a way of limiting the amount of free text that can be entered in box.

20. allow poll takers to generate new poll answers that become votable by later poll takers

It's actually very similar to the way this page is set up - allowing users to generate options that others can also vote on.

This is in contrast to a typical multiple choice poll with fixed answers and maybe an "other" category that can be filled in.
