This would be invaluable with a few additions:
1) Checkboxes (not just radio)
2) email alerts when completed to Form owner(s)
3) Ability to attach files (20-50mb)
4) Ability to turn completed forms into tasks or "to do lists"
5) "if this... then" when creating the questions would be great. So some questions might "unlock" other questions.(slightly different than branching).
6) ability to link dates to a shared calendar (making due dates and reminders possible346 votes
Add ability to transfer ownership of form to another person. Useful for when a person leaves the company or changes roles and form ownership needs to transfer to another person.329 votes
Thanks for your suggestion for Microsoft Forms. We are thinking about this. If you have detailed scenario or requirements for ownership transfer, please feel free to email email@example.com.
Really appreciate your input. :)
We are using the form as a guest survey that requires a name and contact information be provided. We offer a prize incentive for anyone completing the survey and need a way to contact the winners.
People are confused by the form having a subheading that says "Your response is anonymous" but the first question requires them to identify themselves.
It would be great to be able to turn that marking off or on depending on the intended use of the form.7 votes
We need to be able to transfer a form generated from an Excel within a Office 365 Group to another without loosing the Form functonality

We would get much more mileage out of the forms feature if we could pass default values in the form URL that are set when the form opens.
For example we are asking some 100 users to fill out the same form, but some values we want to preset for some groups of users.5 votes
The ease of use Forms provide would make building request apps, approval apps, and calendar apps much easier.129 votes
Allow the full form to be sent via email. 50%+ higher response rates when the survey is in the email body, saving respondents a click.
Include the survey/form within the body of an email message in addition to the link to the survey. Response rates are higher when participants can respond from within the body of an email message.146 votes
Forms are inbult and I would suggest instead of creating entire new mobile app for FORMS, why can't we just link FORMS to PowerApps. That will solve all the issues like linking with sharepoint, excel, transferring data to some other site etc.7 votes
Allow forms to be saved in to a location that all employees can see, edit and use. (removing the need to share everything and send links)
Please create a location where you can save forms such that they are then available to all users in our organization. Right now you need to share via link. Anything in said group should just be available to all users in the organization.
We are going to use forms to create on/offboarding forms for our clients. But every team member will likely create several of these forms. It would be great if we could just drop them in to one place where everyone can see them.2 votes
Allow a way for Microsoft Forms to export templates to another tenancy, saving recreating same survey for multiple separate tenancies.
I manage separate tenancies for a variety of customers and would like to have the same questionnaire for each customer in their Office 365 tenancy.2 votes
I've recently found out about forms for excel, and as i want to create a form that my group will all be able to access and see the reporting information all in one place this is perfect.
But I've already created the forms, and just want to add them onto the excel for forms but it won't allow me.
Is there a way possible which will allow me to move these pre-existing forms onto forms for excel, so that my collegues can see all the forms and all the information from then in one place.
The form workflow should easily allow for the completed form to be:
1. Emailed to the "completer of the form." (either by entry of email or MS knowing who is logged in)
2. Allow for the form to be sent to the completer as a pdf or Word doc that can be formatted differently than the input form with merge fields.
3. Send a link to edit the form to the completer.
4. Push the data to an Excel worksheet.
Google Docs allows all this to happen.1 vote
Responders do not currently receive email confirmation of their responses on 365 and we receive requests for this - this must be something that can easily be rectified as on Google Forms.
Can a spreadsheet be created as a live document for responses received not a download into Excel, again as in Google Forms. This means that the responses can be shared as a live document that updates automatically.1 vote
When author sets either start date or stop date for form availability, it would be nice to have form displaying automatically a message like
"Survey available from MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM to MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM" according to settings.
So early birds will know they have to come back later on, and late people will know it is too late!
For more flexibility, it could be another option, not statically automatic.
Capability to set display style of this message would be nice.4 votes
For sensitive questions you would like people to be able to respond anonymous, but also restrict the number of responses per person. Otherwise other programs keep being more interesting to use.1 vote
Google Forms has an ability to Pre-Fill answers. You can even edit the Pre-Fill link to even change which Strings you would like to import.
This is done in Google Forms by assigning each Question a unique ID # and you can easily manipulate what you want the Answer to say by changing the ID #'s Pre-fill data.
I feel like Microsoft Forms should be able to implement something similar. I know a lot of businesses would like to import data quickly as well.113 votes
allow form responses to be sent to an email or multiple emails. we are trying to use microsoft form instead of google docs to no avail
My school wants to use microsoft form instead of google docs since our district is pushing the use of microsoft office products however the microsoft form does not allow you to send form responses to an email or to multiple emails. We want to be able to enter teacher feedback into the form and email the responses to the teacher, assistant principal and principal. Currently google docs allows us to email the form responses and chart our entries. Microsoft form using flow will only allow you to get a notification that a response has been entered which does us no good at all. we would have to copy and paste the info into a separate email which defeats the point of using the form at all

Have the ability to disable external sharing completely which includes anonymous links. Currently the option in the admin center for external collaboration is turned off, however we can still share a form using the anonymous links with external users so an option to truly disable external sharing would be good.84 votes
Please add the ability to build and share custom reports. Simply allow user to select the question(s) they want to see in report. Create the custom report for printing and creation of link to the custom report. I want the ability to hide responses when they contain confidential information.3 votes
